Born and raised in Canarsie, Brooklyn, New York, Nina started her career on a very different path - Wall Street, to be exact.  She worked as a Financial Advisor for Oppenheimer and Company and then Merrill Lynch.  Nina was employed in the financial district in New York City when the disaster of September 11, 2001 occurred, after which she decided to relocate to South Florida.

While awaiting the sale of her home, Nina assisted her cousin who was setting up a Merrick, Long Island showroom for his Florida-based company, Coral Light Stone Products.  Nina’s expertise as a people person helped to quickly build up the family owned architectural faux-stone business and clientele.  While there, Nina decided to branch out a bit, opening another business in the same location called Art & Design Marble, where she became a successful sales person and partner in the granite fabrication shop.

It was here that Nina fell in love with the beauty of natural stone and was bitten by the “design bug”.  She attending training at Regent Stone Products in Virginia and received her certification as a stone fabricator.

In 2005, once her house in NY sold, Nina and her young family moved to Palm Beach Gardens, FL and she opened a small showroom in Lake Park, devoted to Coral Light Stone Products.  She quickly established contacts with local architects, contractors and builders, and was approached by a large local GC to provide all materials for his projects, including stone, wood and tile, and Architectural Stone and Design Products was born.

Nina began importing & sourcing exclusive products that earned Architectural Stone and Design the  recognition as a leading provider of stone, wood and tile within the luxury market in South Florida.

The A&D Building of Palm Beach  has three showrooms under one roof.  Nina decided to expand her business by adding the additional showrooms as they were the largest vendors for Walker Zanger, Devon & Devon, Arrigoni Wood and many others. Many of ASD's exclusive products are widely known as the most exclusive stones, tile and fixtures in the industry.

When Nina is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes two daughters, Taylor and Deana.
